Another Saturday

Olivia is 8, it's spring, and the big school play / fundraiser is over. Now we have a little time to live on the weekends.

Tonight, Lucky looked cute before bed. Olivia always give him some cat treats before bed, & he really loves that!

Olivia's Mom's Birthday

Dannette's birthday was perfect. First thing: we gave her some cards & gifts, and little things to wear.

Then, we went over ( on foot) to the Blackbird Cafe on Orange& wardlow. That school showplace was rocking. I'd definitely do that again !

Then, olivia and Dannette went to Maggie's to work on the big show preparations.

Size matters

2013 is the year that she got too big to carry, for most purposes. If one of the attributes of childhood is being small & portable, she made great progress toward adulthood this year. (3rd grade)

I measured Olivia's height today and she is 52.5" (4' 4.5").
